“The demand for our services is increasing due to the rising number of people living or working with life threatening illnesses and the rising cost of their care.”
Gai says it will be able to expand to the city and the suburbs of Sydney in the coming months.
“Our clients are mainly those with life saving illnesses, and we are very happy to work with them as they need us to help them manage their condition,” it added.
“It’s a unique opportunity for us to build a network of specialist clinicians and specialists in the area to help us provide a wide range of services to people who are experiencing life threatening conditions.”
Giancarlo Sotto, Gai Consultants’ director of operations, said it was important to make sure that the clinic was in the community, and that it had a strong focus on providing quality care to people with life threats.
“A key part of our business is our clinical work with our clients, and our patients will have a lot of choice in the services they choose,” he said.
Gai Consulting is one a growing number of private companies offering specialist medical services, including those in the healthcare sector, which is now expected to grow at a rate of more than 200 per cent in the next decade.
The private sector has been growing rapidly in recent years, and has seen an increase in the number of health professionals working in Australia.
The government last year increased the Medicare levy to increase its share of the sector’s revenue from 10.9 per cent to 14.5 per cent, which will help the sector grow more quickly than the private sector.
Gauging growthGauge has forecast that the private healthcare sector will grow at around 10 per cent a year from 2020-2022.
This will be a very strong sector for the Government, and I think it’s the right time for the industry to grow,” Dr Sotto said.
The Government will spend $7.5 billion over five years on its health services, and Gai said the Government should focus on the private health sector.”
I think the private medical sector needs to be part of that, because it is the future of the country,” he added.
Gaurav Datar, CEO of the Australian Medical Association, said the industry needed to become more visible.”
Private medical services need to be a recognised part of the health sector,” he told ABC Radio.”
They are an important part of how health care is delivered and how the healthcare is delivered.
