HBR is publishing an article detailing the HR salaries for 2019 for most of the major companies that we track, and it’s not a particularly flattering picture.
As we’ve seen with the recent hiring of the HBR Chief Financial Analyst and Chief Information Analyst roles, it’s a tough time to be a HR consultant.
According to the HR consulting firm, a full-time consultant can expect to make around $60,000 per year, a little over $6,000 more than a full time HR manager.
That’s a lot of money for a company that doesn’t have any of its own full-timers in the room.
But, the Hbr consultant also notes that it’s important to consider that there are many factors that can affect a person’s pay.
For one thing, HR consultants are expected to help with many different aspects of the firm’s work.
HR consultants are also expected to be very involved in the firm.
So, for example, it may be more important for a consultant to be an expert in the areas they cover, than it is for someone in the HR department to be the expert in those areas.
“If you’re working in HR and you’re an expert on a specific task and you have to work with a team, it doesn’t mean that you’re not an expert,” said HBR consultant Andrew Johnson.
He added that it is “absolutely vital” that a consultant knows what the firm does well and what they don’t do well, and “if they’re working on a particular task that’s not going to help them earn a lot more than they would otherwise earn.”
But the most important part of the HR consultant’s compensation package is how much they will earn.
They are expected for the most part to make more than HR managers, but there are also a few factors that could affect how much a consultant makes.
To start with, a consultant will generally be expected to work at least three months per year.
A full-timer, on the other hand, is expected to have to do one full-year job per year (the average HR consultant makes about $50,000), while a fulltime consultant makes around $100,000.
And, a consulting contract will typically require a high salary.
In fact, HBR’s annual salary report says that consulting is a “high-paying field,” with a median annual salary of $160,000 for a full assistant.
Even so, the HR consultants in our survey said that they’re not paid much more than other professionals in their field.
The HR consultant we spoke to who asked not to be identified for fear of retaliation told us that her salary is “the same as a mid-level manager” and that she works with “a small team” and has no “power over the work that’s done.”
In the case of the hiring of a full head of HR, she said, the company will be “getting a good person,” and she’s “just a person that has to get things done.”
But that doesn.
If you want to know what the HR professionals at your company make, we recommend reading our HR Salary Report for 2019, which can help you get an idea of how much your HR consultant will make.
We also reached out to HBR to find out more about the typical HR consulting salaries, and will update this article when we have more information.
While there are some HR consultants who will be earning more than their full- time colleagues, that’s usually because the company has an HR team, which is what HBR says is required.
However, a typical consultant can work for a large company and not have to worry about having to be paid.
At HBR, we’ll be sharing a list of HR consultants that we’ve worked with in the past, so you can see what they make and how much you should expect to earn for them.
You can also check out the salaries at your own firm if you have questions about your HR consulting contract.
