A year ago, I had a dream.
My husband and I were sitting in the living room of our beautiful house, enjoying the warm sunshine of summer.
We had two beautiful little boys, each with their own favorite toys.
I was looking forward to getting to know them and spending time with them.
Then one day, our eldest son, a 5-year-old girl, fell asleep in front of our television.
The next day, my husband was on his knees at home with his newborn daughter, who was asleep next to him.
The girl woke up to find her father on the floor with a knife in his hand.
I felt sick, but didn’t know what to do.
I told my husband to call the police.
The police arrived and they arrested the man.
When the police showed up, they told us to take off our clothes.
We complied and they brought the knife back to us.
I had no idea what had happened.
I thought my wife had accidentally cut herself and my baby had been murdered.
I didn’t realize that I was in danger.
When I woke up the next morning, I was worried that my wife and I might have been the next victims of this terrible crime.
We decided to contact a local law firm.
After getting some advice from a legal nurse, we started researching the law and learned that we were under a duty to report these types of crimes.
The law firm said that I should not have to be worried about reporting it.
It’s just a case of people being stupid.
The local police chief told me that I would not be able to get a fair trial if I didn´t report the crime.
I’m not a lawyer, so I couldn´t understand the reasoning behind the decision.
But my lawyer told me there is a very good chance that I will get a verdict because I’m a law enforcement officer.
That was a bit frightening.
We were afraid that the police would not believe us and that I wouldn´t be able get a free trial.
I decided to keep going.
My fear of getting a fair verdict turned out to be unfounded.
My client has been exonerated and the crime is still under investigation.
What happened to the girl and her father?
They have since moved on with their lives.
My wife and child are happy and healthy and I’m now doing my best to support them through their medical treatment.
My partner, who has been a law enforcer for 17 years, told me the same thing.
He said that there is nothing wrong with people being able to protect themselves if they feel comfortable.
He believes that everyone should be able protect themselves from criminals.
I believe that we should have the freedom to protect ourselves, but it has to be done in a responsible manner.
We need to get used to it.
We can’t stop the criminal justice system until the police are less lenient toward the innocent.
I also feel that our police department has been negligent in reporting the crimes and is now being criticized.
My former boss, who worked for the police department for more than 15 years, says that our department needs to do more.
He told me to stay positive.
We should not be afraid to report crimes if we have to.
We just have to do it in a respectful way.
